About The Georgia Asphalt Pavement Association
The Georgia Asphalt Pavement Association (GAPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving
the citizens of Georgia through the promotion of environmentally friendly Asphalt Pavements. Our
membership includes asphalt manufacturers and contractors as well as vendors and suppliers to the
asphalt paving industry.
The GAPA promotes research in the latest technology and techniques for production and application
of asphalt pavement, and provides educational resources to keep our members up to date on the latest
industry developments.
GAPA also functions as an advocate for the advancement of the asphalt paving industry in Georgia
and acts as the representative for our member’s interest with state and local government.
Our mission is to promote the use of high performance asphalt pavement solutions while promoting
professionalism, safety and environmental awareness in the asphalt paving industry throughout Georgia.
Origins of GAPA
The Georgia Asphalt Pavement Association was officially formed on June 1, 2006 as an association of
industry leaders who’s primary interest is to provide the highest quality asphalt roads, streets, and
parking areas for the citizens of Georgia.
